When daydreams turn to nightmares

When daydreams turn to nightmares

If a mother could see that newborn bundle in a rumble, would she still dream?

If a dad could hear a child’s profanity, would he still revel in hearing ‘da da’?

When for the first time, the child hears the parent lie, can he still believe?

When for the first time, the child sees the parent steal, can she still trust?

Yes, although daydreams turn to nightmares, nightmares turn to realities.
